Life: Eventful or Event-centred?

We are looking forward to Christmas Celebrations which bring us much joy and happiness. Let us also start Celebrating our life in Christ! We could then enter a place of unending joy and happiness! We at Vashti Woman like to place more emphasis on living eventful lives than event – centred lives!

If we wish to improve the quality of our lives, a good way to start would be to think more often about, ‘what am I thinking about?’, rather than ‘what are others thinking of me?’

Our interview with a seasoned environmentalist cautions us against the damaging effects of cosmetic industry on our skin and damaging effects of advertisements on our self-esteem; both require careful consideration and response. ‘Inside out’ should be the focus of every woman who desires to radiate a beauty and confidence. Far greater appeal and charm can come from becoming women of substance and character  (Peter 3:3-4) rather than from applying substandard beauty schemes.
Proverbs 31:25 describes the strength and dignity of a woman of character and her ability to laugh at the days to come. We do well to combine our Focus on Faith with some Financial planning too!

If we wish to improve the quality of our lives, a good way to start would be to reflect more often on ‘what am I thinking about?’ rather than ‘what might others be thinking of me?’

We need each other to ignite the fire and flame within us to light up the world around us. We women are powerful influencers – we are innately TLC – Tender, Loving and Caring. We encourage you to go a step further and enlargeyour borders! We have packagedtips for a parallel TLC into your personality – Travel well, Live welland Cook well.

Resting is not rusting! Resting, is trusting in God and living out our lives in balance. We must be able to listen to our own body clocks, postpone issues to a time it can be handled with more strength and sobriety. We must consciously decide to decline appointments, postpone certain compulsive behaviours (like a clean sink or clean house) and lower certain standards of expectations of ourselves. We must focus on living balanced and purposeful lives! Our magazine will help you work towards a ‘life in all its fullness’  which Christ promises in John10:10.
