A Garbage-free Life

This issue of the magazine continues with our Focus on those who hurt, and those struggling with unresolved issues in their lives. Along with these we bring healthy Lifestyle issues regarding what we eat, how we live and practical household Tips.

There has been much talk of “Clean India” drive. This has been taken up in several cities. But our greater concern is just not “garbage-free” streets, but a “garbage-free’ soul

Besides garbage, we know that air pollution, noise pollution are very destructive both to our environment as well as to living things, including human beings. You will find writers sharing their insights into practical ways we can handle these.

Our Emotions Matter

It is not enough to just think of cleanliness outside, but cleanliness within too. Let us consider the article on how to do ‘Spring Cleaning of our Souls’.

There are also emotional bondages that we often suffer from. As I think about it, there are many things that can enslave us. We can be enslaved by unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, jealousy; love of the things of this world, the list is endless!!

Is there something that has you enslaved? These are also addressed in ourarticles.

We are starting a series featuring on “Overcoming”. This issue deals with “How to overcome Old Habits” that trap and cripple us.

Jesus came to set us free.  At this Christmas season, we again remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ who came to live and die on the Cross for the forgiveness of our sins and for our salvation and way back to God.  He came to set us free from the evil hold of our own sinful flesh, the trappings of the world and the deceitfulness of Satan. Jesus says in John 8: 36, “If the Son sets you free you shall be free indeed.”

Do you feel trapped, inwardly burdened by a weight that is almost crushing you? Are you enslaved to any habit that is depressing you and causing conflict with those you connect.

Jesus came to set us free, to enjoy life in all it fullness – no matter what your situation is.

Jesus said in John10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

Write to us. Share your life struggles and pain and how you have overcome them. Your story could help another going through a similar problem.
