How do we define Success in today’s world? Is that what life is all about?
Let me highlight the difference between success and significance.
Success is secular and. Significance is spiritual.
And spiritual matters are always finer, deeper, and longer lasting than secular matters.

Success is focused on tasks, even goals.  What do I do? How do I achieve it?
But, significance focuses on purpose. Why am I here? What do I do with the talents, experiences and skills that I have? How can I make the world a better place? How do I plant seeds of greatness in the lives of those around me? How do I make an impact in the circles of influence where I find or place myself?
To merely succeed is not an end in itself. We must become significant.  We must use our success to impact other people…to impact the world…to ‘Live Life from the Inside Out’.
It all starts with the choices we make—they determine the person we will become.
An important thing to remember is that, to become significant, it does not matter who we are. We can be an ordinary person. So, it does matter how young or old we are. It does not matter how rich or poor we are!
What matters is our faith in God that holds us in the storms and brings us through our problems and pain. What matters is the impact we make on lives we come in contact with daily – our children, our colleagues, our neighbours – those whom we serve and those who serve us.
This issue of our magazine therefore presents stories of ordinary people who made an extraordinary impact on lives of others.
Let us be challenged not just to seek success for ourselves, but seek more to make become more significant.
Let us leave our footprints on the hearts of people around us – for now and for the future!
