Uses Of Peroxide

“It is a little brown bottle no home should be without! With prices of most necessities rising, here are some ways to save tons of money in such a simple, healthy manner! “

Bleach

1. Add a cup of peroxide to bleach the whites in your laundry. If there is blood on clothing, pour it directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute, then rub it and rinse with cold water. Repeat if necessary.

2. To give your hair a natural look, spray a 50/50 solution on your wet hair after a shower and comb it through. You will not have the peroxide-burnt blond hair like the hair dye packages, but more natural highlights, if your hair is a light brown, reddish, or dirty blond. It also lightens gradually, so it’s not a drastic change.

Clean

3. Clean your counters and table tops with peroxide to kill germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters.

4. Kill salmonella and other bacteria on your wooden cutting board by pouring peroxide on, after first rinsing them off.

5. Disinfect every bathroom without harming your septic system as bleach or most other disinfectants will, using peroxide. A 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water is ideal for this. It can also be used to remove the smell of urine and eliminate bacteria.

6. Use peroxide to clean mirrors without smearing

7. Keep your toothbrushes free of germs by soaking them in a cup of peroxide.

8. Use it instead of mouthwash. This will prevent canker sores in your mouth and whiten your teeth without expensive pastes. Take one cap full (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily (maybe when you bathe), then spit it out.

Heal

9. Keep half-a-bottle of peroxide in your bath to help get rid of boils, fungus, or other skin infections. For fungus on the feet spray a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry.

10. Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to ten minutes several times a day. It can even cure gangrene that would not heal with any other medicine.

11. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixture in case of a cold or plugged sinus. It will bubble and help to kill the bacteria. Hold for a few minutes, and then blow your nose into a tissue.

12. For a terrible toothache put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and hold it for ten minutes several times a day. The pain will lessen greatly.
